New Delhi, October 20: EAAA India Alternatives Ltd, a subsidiary of Edelweiss Financial Services, is set to launch its Rs 1,200-crore initial public offering (IPO) on October 26, giving investors an opportunity to participate in India’s growing alternative investment sector.
The public issue will remain open until October 28, while bidding for anchor investors is scheduled for October 23, according to the company’s Red Herring Prospectus (RHP).
IPO Entirely An Offer For Sale
The Rs 1,200-crore IPO will consist entirely of an Offer for Sale (OFS) by the Edelweiss Group, with no fresh issue of shares.
This means EAAA India Alternatives will not receive any proceeds from the IPO. The entire amount raised will go to the selling shareholder.
The company has also reduced its IPO size from Rs 1,500 crore proposed in its Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) filed with SEBI in January.
Edelweiss Earlier Sold 4.4% Stake
In March 2026, Edelweiss Financial Services completed the sale of a 4.4 per cent equity stake in EAAA India Alternatives for Rs 375 crore.
The upcoming IPO marks another step towards unlocking value in the group’s alternative investment business.
The public offering will also provide investors direct exposure to a specialised investment management platform.

SEC Environmental Technologies IPO Next
