Mumbai: Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting will acquire skincare brand Dermatouch at an enterprise value of Rs 387.5 crore, strengthening its presence in India’s growing premium skincare market.

The company will initially acquire a 60 per cent stake in Dermatouch for Rs 232.5 crore. The remaining 40 per cent stake will be purchased over the next few years.

Wipro Makes 18th Global Acquisition

The Dermatouch deal marks Wipro Consumer Care’s 18th acquisition globally. It is also the company’s third acquisition in the past month as it continues to expand its consumer products portfolio.

Ahmedabad-based Dermatouch reported revenue of Rs 131 crore in FY26, registering a sharp growth of 114 per cent compared with FY25.

Founders Anish Nagpal and Amit Purswani, along with the existing management team, will continue to operate the skincare business during the acquisition period.

Entry Into Digital Skincare Brands

Dermatouch is an Indian pharmacy skincare brand offering products aimed at concerns including pigmentation, acne, skin brightening and sun protection.

Its portfolio includes face washes, soaps, serums, creams, moisturisers and sunscreens.

Kumar Chander, CEO of Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting and MD of Wipro Enterprises, said Dermatouch marks the company’s first entry into digital brands.

He said Wipro was looking for digital-first brands that also have the potential to expand their presence in offline retail channels. Dermatouch has already demonstrated that ability.

Acquisition Push Continues

The transaction comes after Wipro Consumer Care recently acquired Good Home and Eva brands from TTK Healthcare. It has also acquired “S” brands in the Philippines.

Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting reported revenue of Rs 10,800 crore in FY26. The company operates across personal care, home care, electrical wire devices, domestic and commercial lighting, seating solutions and food businesses.

A significant portion of its revenue comes from international markets. The company has operations across the Middle East, Africa and several other developing markets.

The Dermatouch acquisition will give Wipro a stronger foothold in India’s premium skincare segment while adding a fast-growing digital-led brand to its consumer portfolio.
