New Delhi: Real estate developer Sobha Ltd posted its highest-ever quarterly sales bookings during the April-June quarter of the current financial year.
The company’s sales bookings, also known as pre-sales, rose 76% to ₹3,656.1 crore, compared with ₹2,078.8 crore in the same period last year.
The strong performance was supported by healthy demand for homes and successful launches of new residential projects.
Home sales rise sharply
During the quarter, Sobha sold 1,432 homes and plots, covering a total saleable area of 2.34 million square feet.
The company said the number of homes and plots sold increased 78%, while the total area sold grew 62% compared to the same quarter of the previous financial year.
The sharp rise in sales reflects strong buyer confidence in the housing market.
Bengaluru and Gurugram lead growth
Sobha said its new project launches in Bengaluru and Gurugram received an excellent response from customers.
Bengaluru remained the company’s biggest market, with sales bookings of ₹2,067 crore, accounting for 56.5% of total quarterly sales.
The Delhi-NCR region also delivered strong results, recording ₹1,384 crore in sales bookings and contributing 37.9% of total sales.
These two markets together accounted for almost the entire sales value during the quarter.
New launches and project completions
The company launched 6.89 million square feet of saleable area across three residential projects in Bengaluru and Gurugram during the quarter.
At the same time, Sobha completed 671 homes across eight projects, covering 1.08 million square feet of saleable area.
The completion of projects and new launches helped maintain strong customer interest and supported overall sales growth.
Housing demand remains healthy
Sobha said the strong quarterly performance highlights continued demand for quality residential properties in key cities.
The company achieved growth across all major business indicators, including sales value, area sold, and number of homes sold.
Sobha is one of India’s leading listed real estate developers. During the 2025-26 financial year, the company recorded property sales worth ₹8,135.9 crore.
The latest quarterly numbers indicate that demand for premium housing remains strong, especially in major urban markets, despite changing market conditions.
