Three Subjects To Be Re-Tested

NTA will conduct fresh examinations for English, Commerce and Sociology following a review of the papers held in June.

An expert committee identified several problems in the question papers, including factual, typing, translation and language-related errors.

Following the findings, the testing agency decided to hold the examinations again for candidates from these three subjects.

NTA had released the UGC-NET answer key on August 16. The decision to conduct fresh examinations for English, Commerce and Sociology was also announced on the same day.

Re-Exam On September 9-10

The fresh examinations will be conducted on September 9 and September 10.

Candidates appearing for the re-examination will not be required to pay any additional fee.

NTA will separately issue fresh admit cards and detailed instructions for candidates ahead of the examinations.

Candidates who appeared for UGC-NET can check their results and individual scores through the official examination portal.

Two result links have been activated for candidates, with one serving as an alternative option.

Candidates should keep their application credentials ready while accessing their scorecards.

UGC-NET remains a key national-level examination for candidates seeking academic and research careers in higher education institutions across India.
