Primary Market Heats Up With Rs 5,600 Crore IPO Rush, Six Firms Set To Launch Issues Next Week

Six companies set to launch IPOs worth nearly Rs 5,600 crore next week, led by Horizon Industrial Parks and Lalithaa Jewellery Mart.

New Delhi: The Indian primary market is gearing up for a packed week as six companies prepare to launch initial public offerings (IPOs) worth nearly Rs 5,600 crore, keeping the strong flow of new share sales alive.

The biggest offers will come from Blackstone-backed Horizon Industrial Parks and jewellery retailer Lalithaa Jewellery Mart, which together plan to mobilise Rs 4,300 crore.

Week Starts Busy

Horizon Industrial Parks will open its Rs 2,600-crore IPO on August 17. The entire offer is a fresh issue, with shares priced in the range of Rs 57-60 apiece. The company intends to use the proceeds mainly to repay borrowings.

Lalithaa Jewellery Mart will enter the market on the same day with a Rs 1,700-crore IPO. The price band is Rs 190-201 per share. The offer consists of a fresh issue worth up to Rs 1,200 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of up to Rs 500 crore.

Four More Offers

Shankesh Jewellers will launch its Rs 367-crore IPO on August 18, with a price band of Rs 88-93 per share. The offer includes up to 2.95 crore new shares and an OFS of up to 1 crore shares.

Sunshine Pictures will also open its Rs 282-crore IPO on August 18 at Rs 342-360 per share. The offer consists of 48 lakh fresh shares and an OFS of 30.37 lakh shares. Promoters Vipul Amrutlal Shah and Shefali Vipul Shah will participate in the OFS.

IPO Pipeline

Gaja Alternative Asset Management, which operates as Gaja Capital, will launch its Rs 550-crore issue on August 19. The price band is Rs 152-160 per share. The IPO includes a fresh issue of up to Rs 450 crore and a Rs 100-crore OFS.

Tempsens Instruments (India) will follow on August 20 with a fresh issue of Rs 95 crore and an OFS of 1.85 crore shares.

Money raised through the fresh issues will largely be used for expansion, capital expenditure, debt repayment and other corporate requirements.

The six launches are expected to take the number of IPOs in 2026 to 54. The momentum will continue with Skyways Air Services’ Rs 583-crore IPO scheduled to open on August 24.
