Mumbai, October 24: Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor has revealed that she gained weight when filmmaker Karan Johar stopped talking to her. The surprising confession came in the teaser for the upcoming episode of Koffee With Karan Season 9, featuring Janhvi and Varun Dhawan.
The third episode promises entertaining conversations, unexpected revelations and a special appearance by Arjun Kapoor.
Karan Johar Reveals Why He Stopped Talking
In the teaser released on Saturday, Karan admitted that he had stopped speaking to both Janhvi and Varun because he was upset with them.
Explaining his reaction, the filmmaker said, “I was hurt with both of you.”
Janhvi responded with a surprising confession, saying, “I gained weight when we stopped talking.”
However, the exact reason behind their disagreement remains unclear. The teaser suggests that the three have now resolved their differences.
Varun Dhawan Calls Karan Dramatic
Varun added humour to the conversation by accusing Karan of behaving dramatically during their disagreement.
“Karan, you said very dramatic shit. You became Bachchan from K3G: ‘Mein bada hoon, haq hai mera,’” Varun joked, referring to Amitabh Bachchan’s character in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.
Arjun Kapoor Joins The Rapid Fire Round
Adding another entertaining twist, Arjun Kapoor joined Janhvi and Varun for the show’s popular rapid fire round.
When Karan asked Varun whom he would approach for career and marriage advice, the actor immediately named Arjun.
Janhvi also entertained viewers by naming Ravi Kishan as an Instagram personality whose content consistently delivers.
She then imitated his viral dialogue, “Money follows my brother!” with Arjun joining the fun.

Sharing the teaser on Instagram, Karan described the episode as filled with madness and love.
The upcoming episode follows appearances by Salman Khan, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna.
