Mumbai: Kanohar Electricals Limited will launch its maiden initial public offering on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, with a price band of Rs 601-632 per equity share. The issue will close on Thursday, September 10.
Investors can bid for a minimum of 23 shares and in multiples of 23 thereafter. The shares carry a face value of Rs 2 each and are proposed to be listed on the NSE and BSE.
Fresh Issue And OFS
The IPO comprises a fresh issue of shares worth up to Rs 300 crore and an offer-for-sale of up to 11,957,915 shares by promoter K Sons Family Trust.
From the fresh issue proceeds, Kanohar Electricals plans to deploy Rs 64.1 crore towards capital expenditure at its Gangol manufacturing facility.
The investment will fund new machinery, transformer capacity expansion, automation of backward integration facilities, office development, solar power plants and electric vehicles for material handling.
Another Rs 155 crore will be used to meet incremental working capital requirements, while the balance is earmarked for general corporate purposes.
Transformer And EPC Operations
Kanohar Electricals operates across transformer manufacturing and engineering, procurement and construction businesses. It caters to power transmission, railways, renewable energy and power distribution.

The company has more than 40 years of experience in transformer manufacturing and produces five types of transformers with customised technical specifications.
It also undertakes turnkey EPC projects covering substations and transmission lines across 132 kV, 220 kV and 400 kV systems.
Profit Jumps Sharply
Kanohar Electricals reported revenue from operations of Rs 653.83 crore in FY26, up from Rs 276.6 crore in FY24. Net profit surged to Rs 129.7 crore from Rs 17.7 crore over the same period.
Nuvama Wealth Management Limited and IIFL Capital Services Limited are the book-running lead managers, while MUFG Intime India Private Limited is the registrar to the offer.
